Felt is an unincorporated community in Teton County, Idaho. Felt is located on Idaho State Highway 32, just 4 miles north-northeast of Tetonia. While town doesn’t have much to offer in the way of commercial services, Felt is on the rails-to-trails pathway that connects Victor, ID to West Yellowstone, MT and hopes to eventually circle through both Yellowstone and Teton National Parks as part of the Yellowstone Grand Teton Loop.
The path leading north out of Felt meanders through a small, protected canyon along a creek providing averty pleasant walk, bike, horesback ride, cross-country ski or snowmobile ride – depending on the season. A few miles further brings you to the Bitch Creek Trestle. This impressive railroad bridge has recently been converted to host walking traffic and provides terrific views of Bitch creek 100+ feet below.
